Tura is part of the State of Meghalaya in India. They are inhabited mainly by tribal dwellers. It is one of the wettest place in the world .Tura is the largest town in Meghalaya and it is heavily forested and has a high rain fall. It is the head quarters of this region. PDDM sisters are present in this charming place from 2005. They give Jesus to the Diocese of Tura through their Apostolic Activities like Eucharistic Adoration, Liturgical Centre, Liturgical Animation in the parish and work shop for Tailoring. |
